I'm painting my old transformer and when I try to move its joints the paint scrapes off. I've been using a arcrylic ';Plastic Paint'; brand. Anyone have any idea?Is there any arcrylic/enamel paints that won't scrape off when they rub against something?
Check your local Lowe's or Home Depot.
As far as I know, the appropriate paint for that task would be what is called ';powder coat'; - but I think that involves a heat treatment to set it.
Anyway, the Lowe's folks should knoW!
