I am painting the car and i was gonna paint the rims also.Do I sand to scrach the chrome or can I chemically etch the chrome to allow the enamel to stick?What must I do to prepare chrome rims for enamel painting?
Sand them with a rough grit paper. THen sand them again with a fine grit to smooth the surface again. Prime them, resand with a fine grit wet sand, reprime, dry, and paint.What must I do to prepare chrome rims for enamel painting?
why paint the rims if you get some sos pads or brillo pads the rust comes off but if you want to paint them you will need alot of primer
