Spray paint guitar enamel?

I have two spray cans of enamel black and white and i have latex primer and acrylic primer





can i use any of the primers and spray enamel on them





and also how many coats of each should i put on

Use only enamel primer on enamel and under enamel. latex and acrylic can be used with each other but won't stay on top of enamels, or allow enamels sprayed on top to adhere properly.Spray paint guitar enamel?
First off I would not use ( enamel ) on your guitar. I would use Acrylic Lacquer instead. Finished with an acrylic Lacquer Clear Coat. Enamel is not as hard a paint as is Lacquer. enamel won't hold up as good as a Lacquer finish will .Much harder and more durable. The choice is yours though.
