how would i go around paint stripes on single stage Acrylic Enamel auto paint? would it look odd or slightly raised from the overall paint job?How would i go around paint stripes on single stage Acrylic Enamel?
Stripes in general have a ';raised feeling'; The term pin stripes were just that raised painting above an original paint job. What is most important is not the raised quality but that the coat over the stripes matches the coat of your background color. If painting remember to mask off.How would i go around paint stripes on single stage Acrylic Enamel?
If your wanting to save the stripes, you can mask them off, then sand the rest of the vehicle. If your painting your car and wanting to paint over them, them sand them down if they are painted on, if tape use a hair dryer, heat them a little at a time and pull them off. If you spray over them without removing them then yes you will see a raised area. But you can replace with new tape stripe when your done with paint work
