The ceilings havent been painted for 11 years and i wanted to paint over with enamel. Do i have to use undercoat? If so what will happen if i do? ThanksCan i paint enamel over my acrylic based ceilings?
Why in the world would you use an enamel based paint inside a house? Let alone the ceiling? All you really need to do is prime the surface with a decent latex primer, then grab a low satin latex paint to cover. I am a painter of 20 years and would highly recommend behr paint from home depot.
