What is enamel paint used for in model cars?

i got it as a gift. gloss paint and enamel..does enamel go on after the paint?What is enamel paint used for in model cars?
The enamel is basically a type of paint. I am not sure what you got for your other paint, but enamel is basically nail polish - shiny. If the other paint you got smells like nail polish, they are basically the same thing; the manufacturer probably just didn't call it enamel.





Other types of paints are acrylic (plastic based), oil (oil based), watercolor (water based and needs to be mixed with more water), and finally tempera (egg based).
