You may want to try acetone.
Read the label - it will tell you what you need to clean up with. You can thin with whatever is suggested for cleaning. I do believe it is acetone, if it's a true enamel paint (not acrylic enamel).

I suppose that you're talking about a synthetic enamel which is alkyd based. It's synthetic thinner.
You may also try to find the technical data sheet of the product on the internet.
Nowadays many brands have that available over the internet , the TDS and the MSDS (safety) sheets.
