What is better to repaint tub and tile acrylic enamel spray paint or rust paint?

I have a very old home and can not afford to replace the tub...but my son will not take a bath with the appearance of the messy grout, and stains on tub...I clean and clean but they are stainned inWhat is better to repaint tub and tile acrylic enamel spray paint or rust paint?
Any consumer paint will flake off in the water or dissolve. You cannot use wall paint on a tub and surround.





You may be able to get an epoxy coating like the professional tub resurfacers use. You should contact your local paint supplier to see what they can recommend.





Here is a link to a site I found on Google. I don't know if their product is any good. If you do use one of these products you must wear a proper respirator not just a dust mask.

Neither will hold..You need to buy a epoxy tub kit available any major hardware store..

These are for an example..You can kits cheaper then this from the home depot etc
Go to a hardware store, they sell a 2 part epoxy kit that makes the tub look like new.... downfall you must let it cure for 5-7 days. you could use a porcelain enamel paint but its a quick fix that you'll be re-doing as it will begin to peel after a while. the DIY website could help too.
